Nurse Canada Program

Are you a Registered Nurse and Enrolled Nurse Assistant Canada are now seeking nurses to impact their healthcare labor shortage. OnPoint provides nurses living in the Caribbean to meet Canada's regulated procedures to allow yourself and family to work and live in Canada.

Program Overview

 At OnPoint, we are passionate about providing high-quality regulatory assistant for Registered Nurse and Enrolled Nurse Assistant to acquire their Canadian Nurse License from within the Caribbean. The program timeline is 9-12 months.  

Eligibility Requirements

  •  Valid Passport
  • CV/Resume with a minimum 1-year experience
  • Nursing Council License 
  • Registered Nurse with Bachelor's Degree
  • Enrolled Nurse Assistance with a Diploma

Program Details

The Canada Nurse Regulatory Program takes Nurses through a series of regulatory steps such as:

  • Credential Assessment Report: This report is conducted by the World Education Service (WES), a tailored assessment of your credentials and will collect and authenticate documents and validate information and documentation related to the certification process. This education evaluation is sent to NNAS.
  • National Nurse Assessment Services (NNAS): NNAS provides support for international nurses by evaluating Education and Work Experience, providing pre-assessment for selected College of Nurses.
  • Nurse Territorial Regulatory Bodies: Carib Student will support Nurses with their selected province College of Nurses application. Please note each college is different and provides its own assessment. 
  • Competency Assessment: This will be required by some provinces to identify your current knowledge, skills and abilities to practice nursing in a safe, competent and ethical manner to the performance standards expected by College of Nurses.
  • NCLEX-RN or CPNRE: Once you have been approved by the College of Nurse, you will be required to NCLEX-RN or CPNRE.

Program Financial Obligation

Program Financial Obligation: Nurses interested in obtaining the Canadian Nurse License must understand the financial obligation of the program, here is a list of fees to expect throughout the program but not limited to:

  • Program Fee: $850USD
  • WES Credential Assessment: $338USD
  • NNAS: $750CAD
  • College of Nurses Application: $130CAD - $300CAD 
  • Competency Assessment (If applicable): $1,900CAD - $3,000CAD
  • NCLEX-RN: $360CAD or CPNRE: $600CAD
  • Canadian Nurse License 300CAD

Be prepared for additional expenses such as: Regulatory Fee, Police Record, Post Secondary Transcripts Request Fees and etc.
